#345 Potato stamping turtles

Something I have been meaning to try since starting this project.  :)
I carved this image out of the potato without marking it out first.  I didn't really expect the eyes to work out,  what a nice surprise.

    Oh my, I love this one! I've always been interested in potato painting, I've even seen celery & okra ones around.

    I've only ever heard of using potatoes and apples for this. I never thought of trying other veggies.

    Neat! I've been meaning to try this with my kids. I saw a bok choy stamp on Pinterest the other day. Gorgeous.
