And I don't know how I thought of it. I was just looking around for turtle-y ideas, and the bottle was on the counter waiting to go out in the recycling bin.
I used to think I wasn't very creative, just an instruction-follower. This project is making me realize that I do have some creativity. Hopefully by the end of the year, my techniques will have a little more polish!

Thanks for the kind words!Angehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13075197167753448907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2397047145723487645.post-23974289470570122022011-07-28T04:14:56.186-04:002011-07-28T04:14:56.186-04:00Great one Ange! I just saw this project idea in a book on upcycled crafts to cut out the bottom like a flower shape, then use some kind of dowel to hold the center down on an inflammable surface (a brick or cement) while you use a heat gun to curl the edges up. You can drill holes through the center to add some beads for adornment and then either make the "flowers" into pins or string them onto a necklace.Atomic Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16491185015050371057noreply@blogger.com
